Private Equity

The Private Equity team, led by Joanna Rupp, oversees and evaluates private equity investment opportunities for TRIP, which includes venture capital, growth capital, and corporate buyouts. We partner with investment managers around the world to continue to generate superior returns for the University’s endowment.

Our flexible investment strategy allows us to establish meaningful relationships with general partners whose investment strategies align with the University’s goals. Globally, these partners add value to businesses by increasing efficiency and improving operations, and on the venture capital side help to create businesses by contributing to start-ups that grow to become successful and competitive enterprises.

We seek to invest with partners who have a strategy that we understand and appreciate, and can generate the types of returns that we expect.
