
Kate Carder
Assistant Vice President, Managing Director of Inflation Sensitive and Diversifying
Kate is the managing director of the inflation sensitive real assets portfolio for the University’s endowment. Her team is responsible for investments in real estate, natural resources and infrastructure. She joined the University in 2010 and previously served as senior portfolio manager of real assets and senior portfolio manager of the public markets and absolute return portfolio. Before that, Kate was portfolio manager for public markets and absolute return.
Prior to joining the University in 2010, Kate was a research analyst at Leavitt Capital Management, and she was a derivatives trader for Susquehanna International Group for more than 10 years.
Kate holds an MBA in finance and organizational behavior from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in economics from Northwestern University.
